FLIP Launch - The Story so Far: Brothers McLeod Retrospective

The festival kicks of at the IMAX Theatre, Birmingham with a retrospective of West Midlands based animation company The Brothers McLeod. Known for their short films, especially their animations, the brothers have featured on BBC, E4, Channel 4, Atomfilms.com and Channel Frederator and are now represented by Aardman Animations. Imagine Magazine said: "It's rare for an online animation to raise even a flicker of interest in the press but, back in May this year [2005], every broadsheet in town was showering plaudits on [the Brother's McLeod]. This year has seen Greg and Myles McLeod's company become one of the animation houses to watch."

The event will include a talk and Q&A and will be followed by a party, so do join the brothers for a drink and a chat. ( www.sparkandzoom.com )
