This evening’s event, run in conjunction with Creative Networks, will welcome Camilla Deakin, Executive Producer of 4mations, Channel 4’s new video-sharing site aimed at bringing together the best animation from around the world. 4mations is an exciting collaboration between Channel 4, Aardman Animations and Lupus Films which offers animators opportunities to showcase work, pitch for commissions and receive cash rewards for the most popular uploads. Camilla will talk about her role and show some of the work that has already been commissioned by 4mations.

The evening will also include a panel discussion around the broader topic of digital content delivery and adding value to IP through cross platform activity. The panel will include: Dan Lawson, Senior Manager Production & Development at Screen WM, Jason Hall Head of Innovation at Screen WM and Nick Lockey, New Media Development Producer at Maverick TV. The panel will be chaired by Dave Harte, the newly appointed Economic Development Manager at Digital Birmingham.

The event will be followed by networking in the iBar and an opportunity to find out more about the festival programme.
